Tranny now ordered...

Still waiting on an ETA from them but here's the details.

I ordered it from a great company called Mad Dog Transmissions. Found them on Ebay but wasn't purchaced from an auction. Actually been e-mailing back and forth with them based on thier main web site. Great communication, very prompt. Bassically what I'm getting is thier "Punisher" 4l60e. This is from the web site....

discard the springs in the accumulators, because they always break and create problems. One two, and three four accumulators
are blocked off to give you a nice solid shift every time. Remember the transmission is only as good as the rebuilder. This
transmission will handle up to 550Hp
, and is excellent if you have had motor work done, or if you are towing up to 5,000.
Anything over 5,000 pounds or 550Hp I would highely recommend my Godfather transmission. The difference between the
punisher and the godfather is the 13 clutch Z-pack with colin steels, and the five pinion planetary which is also cold freezed to
take the extra abuse and horsepower.
Opted for a harder than stock (stage 2) shift and a 2800 stall torque converter. All this plus shipping to my home address ended up being just a hair under $1700.00. Well worth it in my opinion. I can't wait for it to get here and get Epic back up and running. These guys are awsome. Check out the website...

That was the idea. I didnt want to have this problem again so i went a bit better than stock.
