trans update
well monday afternoon i pulled my trans. yesterday i took the adapter plate off and as soon as i did the races for the input and counter shafts fell out i popped those back in with my race installer and they seem to be in good now...
but a bigger issue, when i pulled that cover off the 5th/6th/Reverse shift rail popped out of place as well. so something screwed up inside the trans. that was probably the first problem i had that night when i couldnt get into gear. so after about an hour of fiddling and wiggling the shifter i finally got the shift links back onto the interlock plate and the input shaft spun smoothly again and the shifter felt nice n nice.
so i have to go pick up my clutch kit, flywheel, and rear main seal. i still think my pressure plate wasnt disengauging all the way. i talked to a good friend of mine who works at ACT. he said it sounds like the pressure plate wasnt working right, and that also caused my clutch disc to become glazed and thats why it felt like it was slipping. so all thats probably bad is my pressure plate, but why not do it all the same time.

He's gettin his clutch kit from where he works I believe..
Since your disc is glazed, I would replace it since you are in there anyway, not to mention its the cheaper of the parts.
