Turn to much car shuts off?

if you can get a fuel pressure gauge hook it up and see what happens when the engine stalls. Basically I'm thinking the pickup isn't staying submerged.Does the amount of gas in the tank effect when it happens?

Guys, I am having the same problem with my 3.4 V6. First, it would only happen when turning, and in reverse. So I thought that that had something to do with it, but then it started happening going in 1st too. So I thought that I figured out that it only happened after startup at low rpms, when it was cold. Wrong again. It happened just last friday morning after driving on the freeway for 45 minutes. I took an exit and was going downhill. The engine quit suddenly as I was going downhill before I even stopped at the light. I quick;y turned green and I was stuck for a few minutes. That was not cool, and I don't want it to happen again. If it can happen then, it can happen anytime, like in the middle of a turn, dying in the middle of an intersection. So I need to get this checked ASAP.
So, I think that it may be my fuel pump or something. I don't have a fuel pressure tester, so I'm taking it somewhere to get it checked today. I'll let you guys know what they say. If it is electrical it will be a ***** to find.
