that was true on the trans. from the 50's, but now manually shifting them slows you down and breaks parts, and real men go the distance (1/8th mile is a good start but not quite there)

yea powershifitng is when you take your car from 1st to 2nd to 3rd then over drive. ive done it, Ive gotten up to 80mph in 2nd gear at or around 5500rpms...not bad for an auto.

No, manuals are sweet... It all depends on what you want.

Id take a manual if I could get one, but its also nice having an auto too.

I wish I could have both having a 5spd is fun, then you get stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam, your leg hurts for a week, and you curse your 5spd. Not to mention burnouts are alot more fun with an auto imo.

you can't power shift an auto (power shifting is shifting without the clutch) in a computer controlled trans it does nothing at all
