What sould i do

ok so a friend of mine is pulling his lt1 said i can have it it has 130000 on it my 3.8 has 70000 on it should i 1 take the moter rebuild and play addon on it and drop it in the camaro but only question is I have an automatic in my 97 not sure of what it is but will lt1 bolt up to my tranny. 2 take a pass keep the 3.8 keep moding it . or 3 take moter rebuild and sell on ebay

take the motor rebuild it (it's out might as well) you'll need a new trans, and driveshaft (also suspension and radiator)the 3.8 modded won't make as much power as the lt1 rebuilt (unless you go all out and twin turbo the 3.8)

Actually what i would do is rebuild the lt1 sell that.... sell your car how it is its still low miles so you should get a decent price on it.... and then buy a lt1 or ls1 powered camaro with the money you get from selling that stuff... in the long run swapping out the 3.8 to the lt1 it will be quite costly. what i said above would be the best way to go about gettin a v8 powerhouse....
