Is it worth it.....

Well since the thread, parts for sale, I was looking at some of that JET stuff and the gm modular caugt my interest. http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?pid=18614 I do have the money for this, i was just wondering will i notice the changes....I dont know if i should go for the stage 2 or the stage 1 because of the 10$ difference....the 180 degree thermosat i would get if we dont already have that, and i wish i knew what they meant by free flow exhaust( would that mean headers to true dual exhaust or will my cat back work )

I cant tell you if you will be able to tell the difference but i would go for it. I dont think the stage 2 is street legal but how would they know you even had it? so i would get the stage 2. I always thought they wanted you to use a 160 degree thermostat with those but w/e. your exhaust will be fine the way it is.

I personally wouldn't spend my money on it but you'd need to see actually dyno sheets of before and after it's installed to be sure. I highly doubt it'll make a difference.

i plan for pace setter headers and have custom exhaust done making it true dual exhaust (same shop that did my body kit)

from what ive found, the only chip worth getting is a custom burned one. and only get one once youve got some mods under your belt that require a new chip.
