y-pipe help!

Well most all of you know that I now need a new y-pipe for my car after installing headers. I cant find one thats made for those headers so I think i am going to make one. I could get header reducers and than get 2 flex pipes connected to that and cut down my stock y pipe and clamp the flex pipes on to that. I have a good feeling this would work fine but would it be worth it? My car cant be driven to an exhaust shop any time soon so I am kinda stuck with doing it myself. SHould I do this. Or make the whole y pipe out of bigger flex pipe? HElp me out.

i didn't buy them, my friend traded them to me for my 10" kicker. I could have bought them for like 20 bucks...tell me thats not a good deal even without the y pipe

It's a good deal...only if you could find the y pipe (how the hell does one lose that anyways?) somewhere else. With out, theyre pretty useless. Every try to route ur own exhaust on a 3rd gen Camaro? FInd the appropriate y pipe for it or sell them. Ull thank me in the long run.
