Fast food is unhealthy, not excercising on a regular basis is unhealthy, why should I be exposed to any of that??

This is the same as the argument about how gingerbread men should be called gingerbread people.

At that, I shouldn't have to change my actions just because some **** feels the need to burn his own lungs and hurt everyone else's health around them. Secondly, there is no **** excuse for those that say "I can't quit, I'm addicted." The **** are they thinking? My dad smoked 3 packs a day, he quit cold turkey and never went back. Hell, the reason he quit was because they raised the **** taxes. He quit just because he didn't want to have to pay so much, yet others say "Oh, I want to quit, but I can't because I'm addicted" thats total ********.
There is a button on your A/C to recirculate the air so that its not coming in from outside. I suggest you press that button and stop whining.

People smoke so then can get a break from the stress, the **** that people put them through all day - there is no reason for them to have to listen to you when they are trying to relax.

I kid you not, he actually used to wake up in the middle of the night from the cravings, he'd have to go smoke a cig or two before he could go back to bed. He would wake up at 5am and smoke a pack before he even left for work, he even smoked in the shower. He went to the liqour store, they had raised the taxes again on the cigs, and he walked out and quit cold turkey. That's beating the addiction, and it's very possible.

If they can tell us we have to wear a seatbelt just to save our lives, there's not much of a difference in them telling us we can't smoke.
Remember, I don't smoke either...

i can see both sides but lean more to meiss's. Second hand smoke is just as bad as smoking really. I have asthma as well and I understand about not being able to take smoke. I think that places need to be smoke free or seperate the sections better. People can either walk outside to their car to smoke or something needs to be done to the place of business so that even though you are sitting in non-smoking you still smell smoke. Of course most smokers don't give a **** and just light it up anyways, being inconsiderate as they are. I dunno, smoking is really ironic. people do it to relieve stress, yet its killing them more and more each cig they smoke.
