i actually like civic's, i drooled over the first one that did 700whp and i drooled over the second and then the third and then the fourth, see what i saying. Anyone can build a 700whp (or pay to have build) if you had the right knowledge.
First of all buddy if you had the right knowlegde to begin wit you wouldn't have bought a ****in corrolla and sorry to say but it's not everyday you see a civic pushing 700whp thats street drivable .So how bout you bring your v-dub and your supposide track car out and put your $$ where your mouth is and run,to bad all you do is talk you ****in "tool".

OMG! A 700 WHP STREET LEGAL CIVIC!!!

It's not that big of a deal.... he clearly doesn't daily drive the car making 700WHP on the street... since he'd have to run race fuel all the time... and on top of that, what would be the point?

so, the beauty of a turbo car is that you can turn down the boost, not have to run race gas and still have a fast car.

and why are you calling him out? it's not like that's your 700WHP civic.

ohh snap the civic you drive has made you an idiot.
quick make it 700whp and maybe just maybe youll be smart enought and know what exactly what your talking about. Funny thing is how many corollas like mine have or do you actually see around? How many swapped civics do i see? I dont see non their a rare bread.

either way also read what notourios wrote, stop defending civics so much there better cars out there to mod.

theres many cars you can make fast, just as you said "money" thats all it takes. I dont care if theres civics running 2000hp at idle its been done before and honestly what so hard about it when half the tunning shops out there only work on civics??

so basically it comes down is that u enjoy drive a unique decently slow car while others prefer to spend less money to drive a faster car?? to each there own rite... but that still no reason to hate on a 775hp civic. jus because its a civic... ive seen ur car it looks nice and has nice tires... its slow but hey its a ae86...

btw i was a HUGE inital d fan

Im not hating on the civic(s) because i was going to buy one back in the day, IMO theres nothing to drool about. Its a civic and it has power, and theres probably an N/a civic out there running the same time with a 3rd of the power.
more power less traction
nice tires ehh... what you guys ride on motomasters? their azenis $95 a tire. I would rather have a car i can corner fast with then go really fast really straight.

you guys have your common civic's and ill have my slow vdub

different cars for different things, my car might not be that quick but i have never found another civic that sounds better. RWD corrollas were never built for straight line speed, try drifting with a civic... see what we are saying here. no doubt 775whp is incredible, but clearly its be done. 8 second mustangs have been around for years, theres no surprise when another one comes along. certain cars are more practicle then others, if that werent the case we'd all drive the same cars.

azenis are probably the best tires for dry traction without going insane. 200 treadware and AA traction they dont last long, not the greatest in rain at all. for cheap decent tires Falken 512s arent that bad. ill have a dyno video and sheet in the coming weeks.oh and just to go back, 775wheel HP in any car is wicked, i dont hate on civics, if i had one it be strictly business. me and my friends have different views. im sure a 450-500+ whp VR6 Turbo would be interesting, but first of all its been done, and they guys are in toronto. different cars for different ppl. id have a 3door civic but they are a bit small and i like to carry stuff when i need to, nothing like carrying 4 rims + tires and also being able to seat 4 comfortably without tilting the seat, no matter how fast a civic hatch is, i doubt it can do that. so once again it comes down to why we own the cars we do. some like form, some like function. personally i like seeing cars that are daily ( at least in the summer ) driven on streets putting down impressive power.
