8 GTA Driving Schools Lose Teaching License

Alleged dicey business practices are what lead eight GTA driving schools to have their teaching licenses revoked Thursday.
The Ministry of Transportation said audits show the schools issued beginner driver certificates to students who didn't complete the training.
Five schools are in Toronto, two are in Brampton and the other is in Mississauga.
"Driving schools that fail to meet Ontario's high standards will not be certified to teach novice drivers in this province. Ontario will not tolerate driving schools giving certificates to untrained drivers," notes Transportation Minister Jim Bradley in a statement.
More than 100,000 students graduate from beginner driver education courses at more than 600 locations in Ontario.
The ministry also pulled the licenses of 22 driving schools in 2007.
The schools involved are:
* Best Choice Driving School, Etobicoke
* Big City Driving School, Toronto
* Community 2000 Driving School, North York
* Gondal Driving School, Brampton
* Opkar Driving School, Brampton
* North Star Driving School, Mississauga
* Royal Canadian Driving School, Etobicoke
* Seneca Driving School, Scarborough.

ROFL, good... Buying certificates without attending is very very commonplace, I however actually did the friggin courses which were useless, but I did em anyways. So I want everyone to suffer like I did lol

io bet its the same s who buy their license, and oh look, this ****er doesnt know that red means stop and cant figure out what a stop sign is, yet they have a g class license and have a driving school certificate. hmmm, oh well.

Brampton drivers - dont get me fukken started man, esp the northern parts - DAMN they **** me off
1.they drive side by side so you can NEVER EVER EVER fukken pass one (slower traffic keep fukken right) for miles and miles on end - dont bother to flash yer lights or honk cuz they are fukken OBLIVIOUS to everything around them
2. they come to a COMPLETE stop at a GREEN light when in the right turn lane of an intersection, then they go , but only AFTER you honk like mad
3.run or roll stop signs (even when kids are out just b4 and after school)
4. in their driveways, they reverse without looking, then they give YOU a dirty look
5. they wait in the middle of the intersection waiting for a purple light ot something
6. oncomming traffic drives at you in your lane

Rep Power: 665 My bro drove a company car and if there was a car already in the intersection, he stayed behind the white line untill it was clear, said it was company policy

The sad part is that this will never go away. I wonder how many accidents you hear about involve drivers who illegally obtained their licence?
I hate when people don't look at their mirrors regularly to know there's someone actually doing the speed limit behind them instead of doing 10 under the limit.

Rep Power: 672 Actually - I believe the HTA says - only enter the intersection IF you can clear it during a green / one car in the intersection at a time <-- Im not 100% on that tho
My bro drove a company car and if there was a car already in the intersection, he stayed behind the white line untill it was clear, said it was company policy
