I assume you would use it just like in the Engine oil. Just add some to the tranny fluid a little bit before a fluid change.

my dad said he doesnt like putting "cleaners" and stuff like that in engine because then it will like loosen things up and he said from experience one time the particles that were cleared out collapsed one of his lifters. any thoughts?...

yea Ive herd that additives and what not are not good, stop leak and stabil are bs too but people say they work... i dunno

sta bil works if you store the car. Additives to oil are a waste of money, and normally do more harm than good (oil has them already when you buy it now you diluted it with other crap)
