No but seriously... every VW guy I've met has been really down to earth and very respectable of other peoples cars even if it goes against their preferences. In biggy's post he just proved himself to be ignorant.

how exactly? maybe you should read my post again. Im asking questions and giving my opinion. so whats ignorant there? So i dont know everything about every type of car out there, i never said i did. Cool so the mx-3 is the same platform as the protoge that doesnt really prove anything.

And i like plenty of non VW cars, subarus, i have a preferance for german cars cause i like the style but i`d still take some jap cars especially a nissan as well. So how can you without knowing me tell me what i like and what i dont? I "respect" many peoples rides

i was under the impression that a stock motor`d mx-3 with a klze motor was lucky to hit 14s, sorry for stepping you your toes there big guy.

^ a stock klze in a stock mx-3 will run flat-low 14's on street tires...its the beauty of power-to-weight ratios....

13's is easily obtainable in a car like that with few/little mods including slicks...either way....ive got a lot of respect for Mazda's...I DONT however have a lot of respect for VW Tranny's & Wiring....

I dont like my windows to fall into the doors just by turning a corner or going over a pump, and i especially dont like ripping all the teeth off reverse gear...

or my moms 01/02 (i cant remember) wolfsburg 1.8T jetta, her husband just driving on the DVP lost 3rd gear from downshifting cuz of slower traffic ahead?? New tranny had to be put in....

Im driving v-dub chicks old Beetle, its like 4am...i start the car, turn the headlights on and BOOM....CEL...head lights shut off, interior lights stopped working, dash stopped working, signals stopped working...i had nothing, drove home in the dark with NO lights...no fuses blown, i checked....car goes to the shop, sumhow the pcm blew??? haha ok...VW

Buddies 95 Jetta...put a system in it, the ignition wire stopped working for no reason on the radio's harness.....wired it to another power source and the cigarette lighter stopped working and i didnt even tap into there....no fuses blew....2 months later put in a new deck, tryed to use the original igntion wire and it started working for NO aparent reason and the cigarette lighter started working again....a month later both died on there own

BOOM....i like VW Styling....dont like the wiring or tranny's...I have respect for the longetivity of there engines (minus the VR6)...and thats all personal experience, nevermind the horror stories ive heard, read etc...
