Beware How You Google
A simple misspelling of Google's domain name could lead to a Web surfer's worst nightmare.
In a new twist to the old practice of "typosquatting," virus writers have registered a slight variation of Google Inc.'s popular search-engine site to take advantage of any users who botch the spelling of the google.com URL.

but mostly everything is done to hit MS products... there's so much hate towards them... not that I care... I just use it because everything in this world is written for it, and my system isn't 100% compatible with Linux... but I will make the move if MS decides to put the "black box" into their next release.

well, running linux for one removes the thread of 'horrible .exe's" running, mozilla tends to deal with alot of others. And considering ill only have maybe 2 processes running at once, its easy to see if something else is going on.
seriously how hard is it for you people to ping or nmap googkle.com.

though theres alot of hate towards MS nothing can beat their products in terms of practicality
linux is good, but very impractical and not necessarily user-friendly, and firefox has been under review since its release date. Its first day of release there was a massive security flaw!
it sucks, but theres no choice! microsoft will always win in the end.

^^^ not true at all.. you always have a choice.
For the past few days I decided to try out Suse Linux.... and let me tell you its an amazing OS. Gone are the days of the old linux with command line and shitty GUI's... Now Linux blows anything MS has to offer right now out of the water in terms of GUI performance and looks.
Everything in Suse is aimed towards the user... It's simple to install and manage software. Most of the time you don't even have to download it yourself. Sure somethings require "some" command line use, but it's rare... and if u'r not totally computer illiterate it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
firefox is probably not perfect, but considering it's still safer then IE it's still the better choice. Just take a look around at how many people in the windows world are using Firefox just so they wont get ed up by ActiveX threats.
So no, Microsoft won't always win IMO.
