the concept that was leaked was a clay model. It's not a real prototype; the background looks like it was taken in the middle of the summer, maybe late fall. There's actually rumors of the car being what was shown to a design clinic, the same design clinic that the artist who did the concept sketch in the first post of this thread attended. If you looked at the bottom next to the wheel, there were jackstands holding the entire body up. A common practice with claymodels is that they do two versions, half and half. Then they use a fullsize mirror when displaying the car to get the "full car" view. In any case, of course there's things in the clay model that I'm not 100% happy with (for one, what happened to our heritage wheel lines that are in the sketch but not in the claymodel? Everything I've heard thus far has said that we'd see those lines, but alas the clay model was missing that) but to me, seeing the 5th gen take back the streets, that's all that matters to me.

I personally think I like the half on the passenger side... Just for some reason it looks really mean- the windows, the tail lights, the bumper, all of it just looks fierce.

Since i was little my dad has always has his 69 z28 from high scholl and I have owned one myself. I think this is a true representaion of what the car should look like. I also heard it was going to have the LS7. That is a lot of power. I have also done some research in that the Jan. 9th unvailing may be the new chevelle.

Could be, but Idk... It would explain why GM is having a pissy fit maybe, but I think they will be unveiling the Camaro.

you realize that the "concept" pic on this thread resembles what "leaked" to the public really closely? you just dont see it cause computer/drawn lines dont translate to real life as well as you'd like them to.

dont mistake it..i think this is a rendering of what gm wants the car to look like in the end run.

look very carefully and you will notice distinct similarities. im going to post both pics up on west coast fbodies..you all are welcome to come view them.
