I've been pricing hotels in the area, and they range from $45-$100 for most of the basic hotels.
Meiss, where is the park supposed to be, and how far from the original location? I'd rather they had kept it at the same spot. And any more about the track? They said they were updating the site by the 20th, but it still hasn't been yet.

It's hosted by EMCC and WMCC, and I'm really not sure why they're being so bad about updating and just letting us know what's going on. I visit the site everyday to see what they say. I have mixed feelings about the park compared to the Washtenaw Community College spot they had. For one, there was absolutely no shade what so ever. I don't know if I ever really posted pics of the "after math" but I was a friggen lobster, and had horrible burns on my feet from wearing sandals on Saturday. With the park, I'm guessing that there'd be more spots for shade, so that's always a huge plus. Aside from that, though, truthfully I don't care where it is. The more I think about it the more I want to go, it's only a five hour drive from my house and if we caravan there it'll be even more fun. We could leave at nine in the morning and be there by one.
