Could someone make me a carbon fibre hood .

Can some one here make a carbon fibre hood for a drag car I,m working on . The stock steel hood is retardedly heavy . Is it easy to make one outta C/F or maybe go with glass instead . I have a factory hood to make a mold from ..77.

CF or fibreglass would be about the same difficulty, all you have to do is get the CF sheets.

uhh I think CF needs to be baked, unlike fiberglass, i could be wrong
but i'm pretty sure. As to who can make it, you can ask Nick from Zekon?

CF is hella pricey right now. Doesn't need to be baked, you can do a "wet" setup and lay resin down. Its cheap and not very labor intensive.

Prep work and taking your time counts. Sanding and finishing it up can be a real pain in the ***!!!!

Key is patience.
