I like how the government will shell out something like $26,000,000 for a ****ing soccer stadium but can't cough up the money for a 2500' x 50' patch of concrete. Bastards!

my point exactly, anyone can goto the track, so why does it have to be at your front door? so you have to drive an hour, big deal. its not like you don't drive that much anyways. those guys that want to race legit already are.

Why don't we all band together and setup a blockaide like the natives . The f'ing government just bought them the land they wanted.

Maybe they'll build us a Track.

Saying "hey, lets just run on the street" or "It'll never happen " is just a sellout rap. Your both ****.

Find a lawyer on this site and see what needs to be done. 95% of us have no legal knowledge of what needs to be done to get this done. I don't think anybody here wants to sheel out $$$ for lawyer consultation, maybe we can find one on this site to help all of you out. To make statements like blockade the street isn't going to work. You all need an educated approach to this to get any type of resolution. Research is key!!! Do your homework before proceeding with any type of petition or action. Goodluck guys.

I could careless for a track in the GTA. when i want to run i head to Cayuga, I'm just saying everyone rants about not having one here, so do something smart about it!! No one has to date, and your not going to get your track that way. Like i was saying before, guys who are racing don't care about petitions and protest because there already at the track, How many of you who want a track in the GTA have actually been to Cayuga or other tracks in Ontario and ran your car??? On a regular basis??? I can see guys who go consistantly to the track asking for a track. But the majority of you are just blowing hot air.

Its 2 1/2 hrs highway driving to get to Cayuga for me 5 hrs round trip. . 253 miles , I think , round trip. I trailer cause my grand cherokee gets better mileage ( with a/c and a radio) then my street car does . On regular gas instead of sunoco gold with octane boosters . I try to go at least 2 times a year . Which isnt much but I also gotta work saturdays till noon . If I,m in the area , I,ll stop in and see the races . There are guys that travel further then me and more often I know .
This thread isnt quite going the direction I thought it would .
I,m just saying , you get fed up with when the tracks are at the extreme edges of the province and the major population is in the middle .
Has anyone tried speaking to a track owner ??..77.

You also drive an Accord so it's easy to tell how exciting it must be for you when you go to the track. For those of us with cars faster then 16 seconds, a track is necessary because we exceed the speed limits pretty quickly.

Skycord , maybe you dont care for a track on the north side of T O . But are you saying if there was one there you wouldnt support it ??.
Also think of a track in that locale not just for the great and omnipresent GTA alone , but it would service an area from owen sound to huntsville to peterbourogh to as far south as ???...Further then hamilton london area ??..77.

I never said I wasn't in favour, but the approach used to try and get one is wrong. There are no educated tactics involved here, there is a certain level of professionalism required here to get any type of resolution. No one has had a decent approach to this matter. And as for my Accord running 16seconds as B6T has stated is just proof of the imaturaty level of the guys in support of a track in the GTA. Grow up man, its not he size of the dick that matters, its how you use it!!

Just finished reading LOW LOW's thread on street racing. "*NEW* Anti-Street Racing Law. Explanation and Our Response." He is a lawyer from the sounds of things? You guys should consult him on the necessities required to get the wheels in motion for this track in the GTA. He looks like he can prvide some valuble insight into your quest for the GTA track. Goodluck guys

How am I immature for pointing out a fact? If you had a faster car you would have realized the necessity for a track. Of course you'll never want one because your car probably traps just slightly above the highway speed limit. It's like my opinion on the proposed soccer stadium, I suck as soccer, so I don't care, just like you suck at cars, so you don't care about a drag strip.

And why the **** are you talking about dicks???
