End of the garden season

End of the garden season
Now that fall and winter are just around the corner my garden is ready to be tilled under. It didn't do as well this year as in the past. I don't know what was different. Either way it's the end of warm weather and I'm ready for some snow!

My garden is still growing. Growing season was not the greatest here either. We had so much rain this year that it just couldn't dry out enough. My tomatoes did real well--I have tons.
I am ready for fall weather though. I can't wait!

We ended up tilling the garden under yesterday. Wow, does it look different out there. I'm so glad to be done with it.
My husband asked me if I wanted to plant some fall/winter veggies and I just gave him a look like he was crazy. I'm over it right now!

Our garden didn't do very well either but it may have to do with the really-no-summer season that we had. I'm looking forward to fall too but not prepared to say that for the winter as yet.

This was our first time trying to grow a garden. I didn`t do good at all. We used good soil and weeded and sprayed. We ended up with nothing. They started growing really nice then all of a sudden everything died.My friend did one too and she got beans and cucumbers out of hers. Oh and some radishes too. I don`t know what I did wrong. I signed up online for the Home Depot Garden Club. I hope that can help me when I try again.

My garden had allot of issues with some bugs eating all my plants. I tried the good old dish wash soap and water to get rid of them but I think he attracted more of them. Any other thoughts? Most of my plants have soooo many holes in the leaves. But it could be that this is my year gardening. Never really had a green thumb and don't think I ever will!
