Gauging Interest

Ok, I havn't read everybodys replies but my brother, my dad, and i started a hosting company about 3-4 years ago and it was going good until our dedicated server provider went out of business. We would still be up and kicking a$$ right now if they wouldnt of went down. Back then there wasn't very many hosting companies. Now days you have no chance starting a new hosting company on the internet. I know that from experience. Just my opinion on it, but do what you want. There are so many hosting companies out there to choose from that are always cheaper that you have no chance. Just a small example: Godaddy.com can register domains as low as $8.95. Just my 2cents.

That's that it costs me to register domains, I could've done it for 8.95 but I wanted a lil income. The main thing that I'm looking at though is that a guy in my dad's office, real estate, pays $600 a year for his website. I can give him the same exact stuff in my $10 package, throw in $100 for web design fees (which is a lot to me, to professional people I'm sure that's just a grain of sand to them...) and they'd still only pay $220 a year... easy choice for them to make.
