i give money to my church when i go twice a year.. if that counts for anything .. otherwise no.. people **** me off.. its not that hard to get a job honestly

if they say they want money for food....go get em something to eat instead of giving them money....at least they cant buy alcohol or something with it then..but yea..i dont give em anything. one time i was downtown and this one was talkin to me, my friend, and his gf for like an hour. he was crazy. tellin us about how he had 9 sisters and how he always put them in handcuffs and had sex with em...he offered us a beer but we just told him to keep em.

^^ yeah that's the best way to do it, just give money to a legit non profit charity where you KNOW the money is doing some good.

they have plenty of day labor places around, where u just go and do labor for cash...any1 can do it....and like i said there is so much construction companies hiring around here, so thats why i feel like around here they should be able to make some money, but i still feel sad for them sometimes

I usually don't just give out money....I work for my money and I am reluctant to just hand it out.

What really pisses me off it being approached by people at gas stations asking for gas money. :banghead:

when a 'beggar' asks for money to eat, you should never give him the money.. you should go inside, and spend the money that you were going to give him on food then give them that. That way if they really want to eat, they will, and there is no chance they will spend it on booze or drugs....

I feel the need to reiterate the point! Some people actually make a huge killing on the money that they 'bum' off of people. They aren't even actually homeless, and are well off, but they still do it...

I noticed that when I was in college in Florida. They'd be at the same spots everyday at the same times and you'd see tons of cars giving them money. They probably make more than I do because I pay my taxes!
