You ain't lie'n my friend......One of the best performing live bands out there. They're true to their sound, which means they don't go into the studio and add all kinds of effects to their music or vocals like a lot of bands do.

I hate when I hear a good sounding band on a CD, but then when they're live they suck. Godsmack did a live dvd after the faceless CD came out, and it was amazing how good it sounded,......half the time I forgot it was live.

Sully's the man though, he has some serious talent.....not only can he sing, but he's a kick-*** drummer as well, and also a really good guitarist. He can basically do it all. My favorite has to be when Sully and Shannon come out on rotating drum platforms bangin it out together. To me that's the SH*T, but maybe it's because I'm a drummer.

And yes, I have listened to the end of track 11 ~ the first part of the song goes for about 5 minutes, then it gets quite with the sound of trickling water for about 7-8 minutes, then at 12min. 30sec it kicks back in with a whole new deep grunge sounding song.

It has a little of everthing on this one, and it's probably because I'm from the same background and time period that these guy came from that I just love there sound. I guess I'm just getting too old for the really fast heavy death metal, but I'll never stop feeling this way about Godsmack.

Definitly stay true to how they sound on record, and sully has a very good stage presence and they have good but not over done stage setups...

ok. i went out and bought it last week. after listening to the whole thing, i wasnt blown away. nothing stood out so i was pissed.

but now after it being in my cd player for a week, as expected, it has grown on me.

Same here, at first I was thinking there was nothing special about it but it's really grown on me. I actually just took it out today and put in Good Charlotte.

Every cd that I hate grows on me ... I hated disturbeds second cd, but since I just recently relistened to it, now I love it.
