Got caught speeding ! ! !
in fact it wasn't me , it was the guy driving me arround at the time
cops wouldn't drop the 18 over , getting him at 68 on a 50 in a small town near the city I moved into . I tried lending a helping hand but at the time I had no change in my wallet .
The fee was 30 euros , which would be droped to 15 euros of paid in the next 48 hours . So we did that . The beauty is that his 300 euro / year insurance on his 96 renault is not affected by this .
When I asked , how come his insurance is so low , he explained to me that , the yearly insurance is a certain percentage of the car's value . I believe 4.5 % . This does not increase based on age and sexual discrimination meaning that if u're a 21 year old male , new driver with a clean driving record , your insurance is still the same .
Isn't it great

I was gonna tell newbieracer , in a thread but I got banned .
We were talking about , why I talk so much about canada , why don't I try to do something about it . For the few , old enough on this site , you might remember I have tried , on this very site , to put together a protesting organisation , to take the insurance companies ***** out of our asses .
But I was quickly discouraged by the responses I got . yea insurance in ontario is PURE PURE ABUSE , and nobody seems to be willing to do anything about it . Well I did ... got the **** out of there .

the smoking part I agree ... allthough I was a former , convinced smoker , and currently , because I moved back to Europe , I seem to have a few cigarettes a day , I miss the fresh air from Canadian restaurants .
No matter what , it's a disgusting habbit which lowers the average life expectancies of entire nations
As for other parts of canada , what were u thinking ? I'd say Montreal is nice enough , but jobs and biz oportunities arn't as great , as for the rest ... I heard it's rather depressing .

You think? 60% of men in Japan smoke but their life expectancy is near the top, think its a fluke? Look at other countrys like San Marino, higher life expectancy, higher smoking rates. I don't know where the rumor that smoking reduces life expectancy came from, but its absolutely clearly not true.
I would expect you of all people not to fall for BS...

Ok....
If your a smoker.. then you know how bad it is for you. No question. Don't even try... It may be the diffrence in quality of cigs.... But I can feel it already... slowly.. killing me and my friends.
The Japanese have a totally diffrent lifestyle. If they came to north america and started to smoke I'm almost positive they wouldn't be living for so long.
Edit: Still can't get over the fact you say smoking doesn't kill people. You clearly need to get a reality check my friend, for tobacco is a monopoly of murder masked by the goverment.
