Got a speeding ticket.. any one can help?

Last week on tuesday, i was late for hockey, and my buddy is the goalie so i had to pick him up too... So on my way, i wasnt driving my car, but my dads van because the equipmetn wouldnt all fit.. so anyways, i ended up speeding abit on the road to get there b4 hockey started, and a cop came out of no where and pulled me over on a side road. To make the story short, he said i was doing 105km/h and it was in a 60km/h zone, + a highschool was there so its a school safety zone. I also didn't have my insurance, the ones i had were expired. So i got 2 tickets, one for insurance, 1 for the 45km/h over, both court dates on May 2nd. Anyone know what i should do? the cop told me if i lose ill get my licence taken away, but i seem like a nice guy and will talk to the crown for me. IF he was to do that, why would he give me a ticket?

Do i hire an X-Copper, a lawyer? or go alone??
Any help will help me huggee.. thanks

1. Plead not guilty. You will be asked to complete a Notice of Intention to Appear. You're also best to ask the clerk for a 'Request for Disclosure' form and complete it on the spot. You would then request a first attendance appointment with the prosecutor. They will send you a notice via mail when they schedule you for the appointment.

2. Attend the first attendance appointment. This is simply an informal meeting between you and the prosecutor meant to try to avoid taking the matter to trial. He may offer you a reduced speed, or to withdraw the insurance ticket in exchange for a guilty plea on the speeding ticket. If you don't like what he offers, you can still take the matter to trial - you DO NOT have to accept his offer.

3. At this point, if the matter is not resolved and you are not confident taking the matter to trial by yourself, hire an advocate.
