HD DVD's Downfall?
#31
I checked out the Xbox forums and people are talking about returning their Xbox HD-DVD players that they recieved for Christmas already. I might just end up getting a PS3 eventhough I really never planned on it before. If I have to get a Blu-Ray player I might as well get one that plays games as well.
I too may go this way(PS3 if Blu-Ray prospers) but still waiting for some better games to come out for the PS3 too as I'm not impressed so far.

Sony Demos BD Live Interactive Capabilities
01.09.2008 — Up until the Blu-ray “Final Specification” (version 1.1), the HD-DVD promotion group has been emphasizing their format’s superior interactive abilities as a major advantage.
Sony decided that, at this year’s CES, they would demonstrate the new interactive abilities of Blu-ray by bringing in Hollywood writer, director and producer Dean Devlin and film critic Leonard Maltin.

PS3 doesnt have enough titles for me to want to buy it. If I have to, ill just get a blu ray player... I know the prices on those will drop low after they 'win' the war.
