How Much I've Spent on my Car

So I added it all up, probably a low estimate, but I spent about 6550 in mods. Mind you, I paid 6500 for the car.

holy hell Chad, thats a lot of money. didnt you have an insane amount in the stereo tho too?

i paid 5k for my yellow Z, had about 2k into it already in upgrades, i paid it off and if i had bought the hood i would have had just about 500 bucks into it, but sent the hood back so i have about 250 into it.

Not an insane amount but the headunit was well over $1,000 by itself, the rest of it wasn't to bad. Like the speakers were around $250 for each pair, the sub was about the same and the amps were just normal prices. It's all the little stuff that ad's up fast when you sit down and think about it.
Of course there was the exterior. The hood was $500, the gfx were $500, the spoiler was ~$200, the export's were $495, the wheels were $1,000 with tires, etc... Plus that was before paint, window tint, billet gas door, billet grill, sealed beam conversion headlights, and so forth.

yep, its easy to get there with all the little stuff, and then when you add paint and those really expensive pieces it gets to be alot.

Exactly, plus I was living at home for almost all those mods so I didn't have to pay any bills or buy food and such so it was easy. The only bill I had was my car insurance and it was only $45 a month. Which is why I got carried away with it.

Paint wasn't to bad, I paid $400 to get everything painted and installed but I was friends with the painter's nephew so he cut me a break.
