Macs suck ******* donkey *****.. We have brand new top of the line ones at school and they blow soomuch ***. They crash on me all the time and are slow as ****. My PC would demolish a mac. Anyway it might be bad ram when I put 4 gigs into my comp after awhile it started to **** up and crash and do wierd **** like that then I relized 2 of the sticks were bad.

Im just saying because I know that specific blue screen. It happened to me a few years ago, and I know its bad ram. Take out one at a time to figure out which one now. Unless your only running one, then youre ****** ...Get out the wallet.
the reason its been so random is because its unstable. eventually youre just gonna get the message all the time.

yeah seems like 90% of blue screens are from ram. thats why i gave the link to a mem test in a previous post. i didnt mean to sound like a jacktard. sorry man
i was just searching on some forums and for some reason ram wasnt the issue with their message.
powersupply fixed many of em for some odd reason. also, people noticed it with that video card i mentioned earlier, just get new drivers. it was giving the video card a IRQ of 24 which cant be used.
ps- macs suck. i hate em. people always come into work asking for software for their mac. i reply "its a mac you retard. there is no software" i just tell em to go across the street to comp-usa where they have a huge 4 game selection that works on macs
macs blow

Same with video card drivers... If its serious, your screens gonna look scrambled, or no picture at all. Not so much would you get a blue screen from it.

Just ran that RAM test, took for bloody ever. Found some errors, but it didnt specify which stick... and ive got 2, 1 gig sticks... so not cheap. And its not bsod'ing now, so its hard to take out a stick to figure it out..

normalyy i would figured it out myself, but i have an extremely important essay due tomorrow and needed to get it fixed ASAP so i could finish writing it and get all the documents back.
it was something about unmounted_volume or something. thats all i remember.
how do you actually go about fixing it? do you need to run the windows disc? cause all i could get to was the setting and crap, using F8 nd F10. i know how to Fdisc but that wasnt an option seeing as we needed to keep alot of crap on here.

Its called PC Troubleshooting Pocket Guide 4th Edition - Jean Andrews (Thomson Course Technology)... I got it in a bundle of books for school last year, this one I didnt even use for any class, but I found it more useful than any other.
