well i got a call today, and they terminated my offer. i told the owner of where im at now and he called this guy, and now i dont have an offer, and my owner knows i hate working here. great.

well i lied and said i was offered 10.50 to try and get more money. so i think that kinda ruins my case. he called to verify that was the offer. since i was playing both sides they didnt like it. its fine, im over it. i dont like the guy anyway. it was just close to home. id rather work the warehouse job. its got like NO responsibility. lol.

yeah thats bad on your part, but yea they can call your other jobs and ask questions... thats why you give them your previous work info and references... so they can find out who you are, its not illegal.

actually its illegal to say anything negative about the person if its negative the only thing ur old boss would be able to say is just when u started and when u left and if he gives no details they kinda figure but they cant say anything negative, atleast thats what the store manager at blockbuster said

i didnt lie on the app at all. only lied to my current manager about what i was offered. anyway i had an interview today and the warehouse. nailed it. i'll be hearing from them tomorrow. i know it. now i just gotta decide if i wanna take a cut in pay down to $1200 a month to be able to work 5 miles away, 8-4:30 mon-fri, get my nights back and both days of the weekend OFF!!!!!!

or accept my managers offer for commission. it would be 5% of the GP every month. last month our GP was 48,000. so i'd take home after taxes $1920 a month. thats nice...
