Well, if you head over to Camaroz28's 5th gen forum, there's an article by AutoExtremist saying "Dont be surprised if you see a Camaro concept January at the NAIAS 2006." That's why I believe him, and since he reports directly to Vice President that seems credible enough haha. This guy wanted to say so much more, but I didn't want to jeopardize his job so I told him I'd leave before he slipped lol.

the only thing that I don't like about retro is that most of the time it sells like crazy but then once the "new retro look" fades, it's a dead end [I.E. thunderbird]. 1st through 4th was an evolution on the previous generation. I personally would've enjoyed to see an evolution on the 4th, but at the same time GM follows pursuit of Ford and has to do what sells, thus retro 1969 5th gen. At the same time of wishing it'd be an evolution on the 4th gen, I really can't say I wouldn't mind a retro 1969 5th gen... as long as there is a 6th gen after it. Worst part about the whole thing is that means it's one more car I have to own (I want to own (all at once) one Camaro from every generation by the time I retire...)

that's close to my plan but double it to include Firebirds/Trans ams also, and exclude the camaro year 70-73, and the Firebird year 69. I really don't like those models.

I.E PT Crusier.
At first you couldn't get one if you wanted to (and if you could you paid well over sticker) and now they can't sell them.
