i have been strugling with weight ever since i came to canada because of the shitty food products you find here . i now barely eat any meat or bread , and spend tons of money on fish flown from japan and south america to keep my weight down . let it be noted that last time i went to romania for a long period of time i went there 220 lbs and within a month of eating like a pig and not going to the gym i droped to 190 lbs only because i wasn't on canadian food anymore . the extra weight you saw on me then is added fuel to this fire ...

but reading your rants, it seems more like you are angry for not having the opportunities that you once dreamed of. instead of trying to get ahead, you are content to blame everything around you in an effort to make yourself seem superior. i see this in a lot of eastern europeans who have had better schooling than north americans, but are too lazy and criminally minded to actually do something with their lives.. and they complain and complain like there's no tomorrow.

u're wrong , i have no missed oportunities and i've never made money by resorting to crime , i am also nothing close to lazy . i have finished some projects with governmental organisations and i have made my small mark on organising this country better allready . the way i see it oportunities are all ahead of me , and so far i've taken good advantage of the ones i've been given . that is not the problem here , but good try ... i guess a few more books on psychology and you can get better

if you were to run for office you would surround yourself with like-minded people who share your goals and ideals, making them seem more mainstream (if they werent) and winning more votes if they actually were good ideas.
"people" would not be unreceptive if you have good ideas... or hell, ANY ideas. but you discount yourself and "people" too easily to be able to effectively promote said idea, and sway dissenters' opinions of said ideas and ideals.

i don't discount myself , just that i have better things to do ... you will now think i discount people too easily , but man , there is so much coruption and bureaucracy at that level it's disgusting .

i am not trying to portary romania as a good country . it's not , and at this time it's still way inferior to canada . you are getting me wrong there . but we do have nicer chicks in there and teenage life is a lot more fun ... that's about it

most of the stuff i've said , are just experiences of mine ... i don't know how you would like me to backup those . and i don't necessarily argue them , i just state them and then some people get all pissed because the truth bothers them .

this country welcomed me with opened arms after we spent 3000 $ on some forms , and after we signed off that we won't request any wellfare . we also had to show that we are bringing at least 10 000 $ into the country ( 5000 $ per head in a family ) , which are not to be made from personal assets . theese sums are 10 years old and in romania 10 years ago the average wage was 70$ / month ( don't start dissing untill you realise that the average rent was 30$ / month and the price of a 2 bedroom was about 7000 ) so you can imagine how easy canadians make it for eastern euros to emigrate here . BTW i don't expect these conditions to apply to other groups . . . some come here for free and they are given extra help as they get here ... so of course some will love it here more than others .

you also seem like a reasonable smart guy . then please don't judge my person through what you see here , because , in here i bitch a lot . i've said it before i use this place for venting , so of course you won't see me in another light than some sorry sad reject , if you were to think that this is all I do all day everyday

I've been in Canada all my life. I don't have a problem with my weight, nor does my sister, mother or father. Sure there are additives in food and I'll bet you've never seen a nutrionist about your weight and what foods you can eat together that burn well. It might be something to consider.

Wireless mice eat batteries like a bastard which is why I went and got the Logitech wireless which recharges on the base. Much more effective.

some people that come here get fat only because they try to keep the same eating habbits as back home , which would not get them fat under healthy food . that's what happened to me . also there are people with faster metabolisms which don't have such a big problem with growth hormones ( but don't worry u'll have it later on in life ) . bottom line is that , this stuff is done to people , and nobody wants to see it .
in the meantime i've also researched enough about nutrition and health in general . I did not see a nutritionist , I've studied enough myself , enough to get so disgusted that i don't feel like eating 90% of the north american I used to eat beore .

i don't come to street racing meets because it's a waste of time , but back then if you had a problem with me , you never had the ***** to aproach me in real life and speak up

my stance ... i'm a disturber . I write mostly to vent and to get a view out , a view that most choose to ignore and get pissed off when it's brought to their attention . continuing my short stories series called : Stories from Canada , today I will be telling you one called : The KFC calculator .


One thing that shocked me as I was new in canada , is how EVERYONE HERE relies on a calculator .

So this one day , I'm in brantford , where the only decent looking place to eat is the safest junk food place out there ... KFC . So I go and order myself a bit sandwich to add on my fat *** . And it totals 5.16 . But I had given the woman ( some 30 - 40 year old local ... NOT FOB how our canadian rusky polsky dreams ) 20 $ and she had allready punched that into the machine so she would get calculated for her how much she needs to give me back .

And I hate having change , meanwhile I found 25 cents so I asked her if I could give her the 25 cents , and get back 2 papers and 9 cents . So she looks at me ... doesn't even pay attention to my calculation . she pulls out a calculator punches out some numbers and gives me an "You idiot" look , showing me the calculator totaling 4.75 that she'd need to give me back .

So to recap , for those that went to a similar school , in case you had problems following me . Sandwich is 5,16 . I give her 20,25 . And she is 100% that she should be giving me back 4.75 . No doubt about it , the calculator says so ...

So I had to waste an extra minute punching the numbers once , showing that what I told her initially was right , then REDO the steps again so she could follow .



This could be suplemented with the funny encounters I have with idiots trying to buy cigarettes , that ask me for ID , and take out the calculator to calcuclate my age ... All I'm saying it might sound like an isolated event that could happen anywhere , but because I do this quite often , ask people to give them extra change so I can get bills , I encounter it often , and most of them can't calculate , even with a calculator ...

I was canadian only for the first years here , before I passed the shock of genetically modified food , for increase of income with no consideration for the consumers . You could give me that logic , which is right . But how about eating lots of good food and not gaining weight . That's how it used to be for me back home , I told you , u probably missed it , but I droped 20 kilos in a month in romania , eating like a pig , maybe two times more food than i'd eat here in a day .

And even when I was canadian , I wasn't obese just a bit overweight , not like this ******** is trying to impose , when running out of insults . There was nothing to get a syndrome over , since I went to a canadian school , and some 50% of the kids were fatter than me on top of that were FULL of pimples , something also quite rare backhome , and which , I suspect is also an added benefit of the north american food industry generating larger incomes .
