if the police focused as much on dangerous crimes as they do on street racing, maybe this city wouldnt be get getting so ing dangerous... its almost as if those ing pigs are too lazy to do real police work so they decide to have this huge crackdown on "racing".

Exactly! Those ers took 45 minutes to get to my house after my Grandpa set the alarm off. What's the point in having an alarm if it takes those ***** 45 god damn minutes to get here. By the time they got here, the theives would be in Cambridge!
Ah well, I guess cracking down on us "street racers" is the easiest way to generate revenue and it still gives the public the impression that they are doing something constructive.

BUt Isnt It amazing how some unmarked cars will try to race you just to catch you when you pass them? I was in my cousins car with him on Eglinton and a cop had pulled beside us and wanted to race. We took off normally and started to pull away slowly. We were UNDER the speed limit and he flashed his lights at us. Mind you he spun his wheels on the start and gave my cousin a $50 ticket for racing and illegal start from a stoplight. There making excuses to pull us over just because of the mods on the cars.

I have seen them in a Mazda6 with factory aluminium rims on it. They are going to rental company's and renting regular cars now to go cruising in. So the old standard about steelies is a thing of the past now.

Obviously the heat is on, big time.
1. Get to know where the fishing holes are and behave yourself driving through them. For that matter, be extra vigilant and behave yourself almost anywhere.
2. Keep your car (at least looking) legal. No 5 inch diameter exhaust pipes, no 3 inch cut stock springs, no fluorescent pink paint, no opaque black tints on your side windows. You can make your car fast in ways that don't make it a cop magnet.
3. No impromptu red light races against someone you don't know.
4. Keep your defence lawyer's business card in your wallet.

9. Everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned.
10. Everyone has the right on arrest or detention
a) to be informed promptly of the reasons therefor;
b) to retain and instruct counsel without delay and to be informed of that right; and
c) to have the validity of the detention determined by way of habeas corpus and to be released if the detention is not lawful.

Renting cars isn't cheap. Good way to spend my tax dollars there, idiots.

the other day i was driving to school following a black 240 with an aftermarket exhaust, now, he was doing MUCH less than the speed limit (for whatever reason) and a soinker was parked down a side street, flashed his lights, and pulled him over. i think this is COMPLETE profiling, and i am just glad i wasnt in front, because im sure i would have gotten the same thing he did..
i would be late for my "engRish" class
its bs. one of these days im going to give them a peice of my mind, or, maybe not

I am going to have a video camera handy with me and get some of this police profiling recorded. Bastids.
