I just thought I would share my experence with hifisound to save you guys some headaches. They had a "buy it now auction" on ebay saying they had 92 sets of pce-216 speakers in stock. I sent them three different questions about the auction trying to get them to ship them to my washington address but they would only ship to my British Columbia address no matter what (I can understand this for paypal reasons) I live on the boarder and was trying to save money on shipping and duty. I tryed to get them to ship usps but they would only ship ups, usps has no brokerage fee's. My sister has our washington shipping addy on here ebay so I asked her to buy them for me, HiFI wouldn't send them there for her either so she had them sent to her house(mistake number 2, 1st one was dealling with hifi). So my new speakers arive with a bill from ups for 81.65 for duty and brokerage fees. The speakers in the box are pvi-216 not pce-216. My truck's custom install is set up for pce-216's and thats why I was buying them, nothing else will fit. I email hifi and ask them what happened, I was told that they dont have any pce-216's and If I wanted a partial refund and keep the wrong speakers(never once in the emails to me or my sister did they say they didn't have any). I emailed them back and told them I just want to return them because I have no use for them, I never heard back from them again. I tryed phoning them but there toll free number doesnt work in canada, I tryed emailing them, no answer. I tryed asking for a different phone number, no answer. I had my sister go through paypal and they will give me UP TO 200.00 dollars back after I pay to ship them back and hifi is happy with them (I never even opened the acuall speaker box)

So the speakers were 224.95 +35.00 shipping + 81.65 for duty = 341.60 and I might be able to get back 200.00 after I pay to ship them back but paypal wont tell me my acuall refund untill the speakers are returned.

Best case I'm out 160.00 when I dont think I did anything wrong other then making the mistake of dealling with a company that talks about there great customer service.

Welcome to the industry. Customer generally always gets burned.

That's why I AM a fan of ebay. Sadly, for you, you got burnt by a company that wheels and deals on it.
