Sighting: 5.0 getting owned by Integ
#16
Lets not get to cocky here.. I mean common at the end of the day your going home in a FWD honda that will probibly never be eligble for the barett jackson auction block in this life time. 11, 13,15,18 sec dosent matter hes still rolling home in a sweet stang. To the blind eye your average joe will still think the mustang owns all.

LMAO yeah the reason why there are so many stangs? cause ford was in the ******* and offered financeing to ANYONE with bad credit or anything. A 5.7 iroc z can beat a stock 5.0 mustang GT. Its a close race but it can. I can go on and list the benefits of both cars but overall the camaro was built better , used better sheet metal and was more reliable then the mustang. Take it to the oval track stock for stock and your mustang would be in the ditch long before the iroc would.
Benefits of a mudstain
quad suspention gets the power to the ground better
Easily moddable , mid 13s with minor bolt ons.
Lighter then the f-body..
downfalls
LOOKS
4 bolt lugs from factory
4cyl option
and the fact that its a ford.

That 4000lbs stang probibly gets better gas mileage highway then the integra does. That 4cyl honda clearly isint stock. Wanna talk about funny? watch a stock stang take down a stock NSX now thats funny.

meh lets see that same stang beat the nsx on a circuit track... probly would even make the first corner

wasent your stang left for dead right in the middle of the road on pine valley? quick to forget Genuine ford
Im willing to bet ford sold 5 mustangs for every 2 irocs sold in the 80s and yet there are probibly more irocs on the road.

It's a turbo Integra, so gas mileage is about the same as stock if cruising on the highway (31 mpg). Actually, I get better that stock gas mileage with the help of lighter wheels, weight reduction, fine tuned AFR's at cruising ranges, etc...
There are nice cars out there, but there are reasons why people chose Hondas or Toyotas (most econo cars). They are practical (good trunk space, mostly 4 doors, cheap to keep it running, and of course, very good stop and go traffic gas mileage), but they are also easy to sell, and can switch owners quite easily. Now if there is a choice, I would put my money into the Integra to give it some good power/suspension/brakes but still be able to reap the benefits of why I purchased the car in the first place. Since we are all enthusiasts, it's like we're gonna spend our "hobby" money on something else other than our cars. So why not spend on something that I'd get to enjoy almost everyday. That's what I am all about anyways, having a nice car that can be driven daily but without getting raped from gas prices, no need to shell out money for staggered tire setups, and could sell the car and still hold a good value in case I ever need cash (aftermarket parts like the turbo setup, etc.. can part out and sell pretty easily as well).

And if you wanna talk oval racing, why did the mustangs rock the camaro's in the SCCA? Not like I give a anyways.

BTW - Anytime you'd like to pull that heap of yours up next to mine, you're welcome to. Then we'll see how quickly you quiet down.

hahhaha easy there jabroni. YOU know damn well I have pulled beside you and YOU know damn well what the outcome was. So shut the **** up. You say there are no more irocs then claim to see a ton with rotten 1/4s??? hahha idiot. Usual spot on those things dosent matter when you compare the rot on a stang of equal age. hood , 1/4s and trunk lid are falling off.The sals of f-bodys slummped into the 80s and even less in the 90s and yet there are still more f-bodys kicking around then STANGS. Gotta love that 4cyl option. The sbc is also more reliable then your spark plug shooting SBF.
