i agree the war is wrong, and a huge waste of money, but each soldier is someones son, doughter, mom, dad, uncle, aunt, best friend, and a loved one n im sure that relatives and family members would pay quite a bit 2 bring em' back home alive and well. so i think that guy n his website is fukin stupid.

This might turn into something it shouldn't be, but how could you think that the war is wrong?

Two warfronts: the war on terror and the war to liberate Iraq from its dictatorship. The war on terror seems a no brainer, I'm sure you want to be safe, and you don't want 9/11 to happen again - hence OEF. Find the cells and exterminate them.

OIF on the other hand is/was to take Sadam out of power. His dictatorship was that of a war monger, who believed that every problem was solved by killing people. Not just in the war with us, but perhaps you remember what he did to Kuwait a few years back (Desert Storm?) Anyways, if you had ever seen how those people were living over there, you would agree that Sadam needed to be pulled out of power. We did just that, and now we are there rebuilding the country. Not necessarily an exact mold of what we know in the United States, but something a little more civil, where if you had different political views, you wouldn't have to watch your entire family killed while you had a gun in your mouth.

There are also allegations of Sadam being related to the attacks on 9/11, which although I might not have rock hard proof, I do have this as a consolation:

You can't achieve peace without war.

Buy why Iraq, why not go over to other countries that are controlled by war hungry dictators that hate our guts? The war started cause Bush convinced some of the American people that Iraq was building WMD's and once their were no WMD's found then all of a sudden the operation's goal was to free the Iraqi people.

to be honest (and no offense here), terrorism, thats gonna happen even if we win this war. when i think about it, i want to be safe, right, of course. yet, terrorism is the last thing that i feel is a threat to my safety, kids bringing guns and knives to school on a daily basis is more my main concern.(which happens a lot at my school) if iraq was liberated from performing anymore acts, that dosnt mean that terrorism it self is gone for good because other countries probably have the same ideas. then what, will america attack them too for suspesion(spelling) of terrorism. then the war gets even longer. also, i think america should be more concerned about its own country first before others. you have homacides being popular in some places, seucides, cutters, mass depression, rape happening all the time, courrupt political leaders, high amounts of homeless people, drugs are all over, and people geeting away with theft and murder too.

i think a great way to prevent another 911 is higher security, on the ground in airports, but also in the skies, have pilots carry pistols, an officer or 2 on every flight, etc. i probably wouldnt take this stance on the war but its gone on too long in my mind.

peace could be acchevied without war if everyone just put their guns down and left each other alone.
