i agree the war is wrong, and a huge waste of money, but each soldier is someones son, doughter, mom, dad, uncle, aunt, best friend, and a loved one n im sure that relatives and family members would pay quite a bit 2 bring em' back home alive and well. so i think that guy n his website is fukin stupid.

Two warfronts: the war on terror and the war to liberate Iraq from its dictatorship. The war on terror seems a no brainer, I'm sure you want to be safe, and you don't want 9/11 to happen again - hence OEF. Find the cells and exterminate them.
OIF on the other hand is/was to take Sadam out of power. His dictatorship was that of a war monger, who believed that every problem was solved by killing people. Not just in the war with us, but perhaps you remember what he did to Kuwait a few years back (Desert Storm?) Anyways, if you had ever seen how those people were living over there, you would agree that Sadam needed to be pulled out of power. We did just that, and now we are there rebuilding the country. Not necessarily an exact mold of what we know in the United States, but something a little more civil, where if you had different political views, you wouldn't have to watch your entire family killed while you had a gun in your mouth.
There are also allegations of Sadam being related to the attacks on 9/11, which although I might not have rock hard proof, I do have this as a consolation:
You can't achieve peace without war.

Buy why Iraq, why not go over to other countries that are controlled by war hungry dictators that hate our guts? The war started cause Bush convinced some of the American people that Iraq was building WMD's and once their were no WMD's found then all of a sudden the operation's goal was to free the Iraqi people.

i think a great way to prevent another 911 is higher security, on the ground in airports, but also in the skies, have pilots carry pistols, an officer or 2 on every flight, etc. i probably wouldnt take this stance on the war but its gone on too long in my mind.
peace could be acchevied without war if everyone just put their guns down and left each other alone.
