it's a low end player (when compared to the LG universal the picture was soft, and it can't pick up the 3:2 pulldown very well which is very important for a machine to do)

haha.. well I was reading on why the delay was happening and the speculation was that ps3 was having issues with the game... so theyre 'prepping the game for the next standards'. They have a contract where it cant be relased on the 360 early, and not ps3 and vise versa... so damn ps3 for holding up the game :banghead:

It might be a low end player, but unless you're a high end videophile you'll probably never know the difference. I would bet 98 people out of a 100 wouldn't notice any difference. For $175 I don't think value wise it could be beat. When I got mine it came prepackaged with King King, I got 300 for free and 5 more movies free. Making the drive pretty much free.

yea, I've heard alot of buzz about developers hating the ps3 because it's a PITA to program for and whatnot...but I also remember them saying that about the ps2 and the dreamcast...but you should just think about the first example and ignore the latter example since that flopped
