It would be worth it in the long run chad, just think of the amount you would spend in ammunition on that weapon in the life of it woule be more than you would spend on the mods to your car which is a once and done thing.

have you ever tried gunbroker.com? it's like ebay for guns. you just have to have your gun delivered through a dealer. i dunno it's another option to get one fast. or another site is auctionarms.com. just throwin that out there. personally my father and i have gotten MANY guns online and never once gotten screwed before

I have an account on GunBroker but I hate going through the hassle of the FFL's plus I only buy guns new. I take very good care of them and don't want to get one all beat up. My Glock for example get's at the least field stripped and cleaned/lubercated after time at the range. There's not a single scratch on it and you honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and one that was just made.

well those guns exist out there. it just takes the hassle to find them. only my .223 and .17HMR are the only new ones i bought. but guarunteed you could not tell my 30-06 came from that website

I know with the AR-15 and stuff the new ones are better. but quite honestly i have one target rife manufactured in the forties and you could never beat it's accuracy with something today. alot of guns were made better back before the 60's except of course this new age stuff

Well I just cancelled my order...

I guess the search is back on. The gun shop pissed me off because they tried just selling me what was in stock already. If I wanted what they had I would have purchased it when I came in. I HATE salesmen and after seeing the way they acting I won't buy from them again.

Alright I have been talking to a place in AZ for the last couple days and it looks like I'll be making a new purchase tomorrow. I'll be building this rifle instead of purchasing one already built.
Best part is, they have all the parts in stock so as soon as I can have my FFL fax them is when the items will be shipped out.

Talk about a difference. With the other gun I was told a 12 week wait.

With this one I just recieved an email with tracking numbers, it went out already along with some other stuff I ordered.
The lower is going to my FFL and the upper and other parts are being shipped to me. I'll post pictures this weekend!
