NOPE DIDNT SHUT IT DOWN IN TIME....I BROKE 2 PUMPS B4 I DECIDED TO GO EXTERNAL OIL PUMP AND EVER SINCE THEN NO PROBLEMS.....

What kind of RPM were you pulling to break them?

So is it a street car or what?

Street LEGAL, as in would pass an ontario safety and emission test. Good thing mine is omitted from e-testing now.

Neat, I ditched a/c and powersteering and a few other useless things...Full interior though.

high boost is not really friendly with oem honda oil pumps

I can say straight up that I'm not too familiar with Honda motor issues. VW 2l 16v's, I'm pretty familiar with. The main issue with them is head flow. Other than that they are pretty strong.

How does boost pressure have anything to do with an oil pump failure? I can see how high RPMS would cause it to fail, but not high boost...

DUH! Hondas use a hyrdraulic system for there turbos as opposed to pneumatic! Easier on the hampsters heart.

ye ye put both together and u'll get that, and i said high boost so it means big turbo higher rpm to spool up.

It Doesnt Have Anyting To Do With Boost Its Just The Harmonics Of The Motor...i Know Guys That Get Away With Running A Stock Oil Pump High Horse Power And High Rpm...i Had My Motor Balanced Twice And Broke The Oil Pump Both Times....some Can Get Away With It And Some Cant....weird!!!
