personally i didnt like the mazadaapeed6, i found the torque limiter was a real downfall! I found the handlig awsome like all the small mazadas as they seem to have it down pat. I have to agree with you though that someone in that target market would fall in love with that car ! In terms of power it was quick enough for a stock car and i would love for them to come out with some aftermarket management for the car and really make it something with control over the traction control system.

i actually took the exact same car out tonite and then i saw the mazdaspeed 3, what a sexy little machine, going in on sat to work out the numbers for the 3, th 6 is gonna be 490 a month if i put down 6300 with all applicable costs on a 48 month lease which is just fuken nuts. but i like the 3 alot so ill be looking at that on saturday when i go in to work some numbers out

always wondered, how does the speed3 compare with the speed6? I heard speed3 is a little faster in the 0-100kph

its only like 10 less hp and im not even sure if its awd or not. i didnt get to take it out but id imagine it would weigh less being a smaller car and a hatchback. the interior on the speed3 is just sexy

3 is fwd. 6 is awd. same engine etc... the 3 is definately more nimble, adn a better handler... i'm surprised you like the 6... a guy at work has one, and it is a huge understeering pig! another guy i know has one, and took it to the track and he basically had to stop at every corner, do a 3 point turn, and then continue on... understeeeeeeer.
still a nice car... no key and everything, nice interior.

the 3 is pretty sweet, but if you're looking at that, and want something with a little less power, a little more money, but more unique (and i think quite nice looking) take a look at the volvo c30. it has a 5-cylinder turbo from the focus st (st, 3, and c30 share the same chassis)... so with an exhaust it will be sex.

going back to fwd is kind of a sideways step though, so maybe keep your car and save the few extra bucks and buy the 6 or something similar in the fall.
