Take them to court and sue for all damages and the personal damages of having downtime without a car because you had to have it repaired! You would kick their asses so bad they would likely just settle before it went to court!

usually a towing company is not responsible for any damages evin if they are at fault. we had a car come in to the shop i work at on a flat bed and the driver tied the car down with chains around the rear lower control arms and bent them all to hell we took photo's and called the company, and they sain they cant do anything about it. hope it works out better for you

i know the caa drivers here are always creful befcause its them that pay for the damages. but since the car was damaged a lawsuit wil be a piece of cake and chances are youll get a settlement out of court. but talk to a lawyer about it. ive got my own business, i lay tiles, and if i put down a broken piece or if i break it i replace it, i dont say too bad, i have to replace it.

That's strange... when my VR6 Jetta got towed, they broke my oil pan (it's aluminum) with the stinger, I drove it off the lot, not 20 sec later the oil light came on. I drove it back, checked underneath and saw oil pissing out through a crack.
I told them they broke it, and they made me fill out a damage claim. They had it repaired for me. Brand new oil pan fitted and everything.
Can't remember what company it was. But they ARE responsible for damages to your car. No matter what they try to tell you.
They can't just tow your car, damage it, and then tell you "too bad it's not our fault"
If you believe that, it's your own fault.

i drive a tow truck and am always super careful with customers cars becuase the onus is on the truck operator if there is damages to the customers vehicles. i suggest u bring them to court because it isnt cool at all.

Them towing your car is a PAID SERVICE. They're being PAID to transport YOUR vehicle to a set location safely without damage to your property or others and thus responsible for your vehicle and other properties they may damage directly or indirectly related to the vehicle they are being PAID to tow.. I"d sue. If they towed it for free ( which I doubt ).. then you can't sue them.
