UFC 59 ~ WOOT!!!!!!
Well, I just finished clicking on PPV and pressing the record button on the VCR. I don't care what else happens tonight, except I want Forrest Griffen to beat Tito Ortiz (probably won't happen though) and I want to see Andre Arlovski shut Tim Sylvia up.
They're getting ready for the first fight, so I gotta go for now, but I keep posting results as they happen.

Well, so far there's been two preliminary fights in which Jeff Monson won by decision after three full rounds.
And Even Tanner wins by way of arm triangle submittion in round one of his fight.
Tito and Forrest are standing in the Octagon right now getting ready to go Toe 2 Toe against each other, and I'm just like a kid in a candy store.....I can't sit still for nothing. I doubt I'll even be able to sit down for this fight.

Obviously there were only 3 people at the fight tonight who thought Tito won the fight. That's Tito himself, and two of the judges. There's no way I believe Tito won that fight. Forrest clearly won the last two rounds, and Tito better thank his lucky stars it was only three rounds. One more round and I bet you Forrest would have KO'd Tito just like Chuck Lidell did in round two of their fight.
Forrest defintely proved he's a contender in the Light Heavyweight division tonight. I still think he should have won that fight. But then again, Tito had the advantage of being the hometown hero, but I think when the fight ended, there were more people cheering for Forrest than Tito.
Oh well, Nick Diaz is getting to fight Sean Sherk, so I gotta go again.

So Sean Sherk pulls it off in a decision against Nick Diaz. A very close fight, one I wouldn't want to judge.
But now it's all about the Main Event ~ Andre Arlovski Vs Tim Sylvia in a 5 round fight for the Heavyweight Championship. I'm gonna say Andre takes it within the first two rounds.
We'll see..................

Sorry but I've only seen UFC while I was in college. A bunch of us would get together in one of the rooms and watch it. Then we'd go out and rent the "best of" tapes of it.

Now it's just a hobby I still like to watch, since I'm considered over the hill for that sport. Anyway, Andre threw a hard right cross and connected with Sylvia's chin, which knocked him down but not out. Sylvia got back up and snuck in a quick little right hand to Andre's jaw knocking him down, and Tim jump on his back without any defence from andre, so it ended up with a referee stoppage.
So, now we have a rubber match in the making.....1 win for each fighter, and a third fight to settle the score.

I always figured if I want to watch 2 morons beat teh crap out of each other I'll go down to the jail. I never understood the appeal of it especially since 99% of those guys can't spell their own names

first fight sucked... Griffin should have beat Ortiz..... The guy that faught Diaz was fast as hell and a good fighter, if he was taller he would be very effective....... I ******* HATE SILVIA!!!! hes not a fighter.. hes just a big talkl Ox with reach... he has no technical skills..
