Matt got lucky at then end of the second round. But BJ was done anyway. Matt owned him in the third. I forgot how flexible BJ was. Man, I'm sore from watching that guy.

I'm glab matt won, BJ pen is a bitch, he should not of had a nother chance for the belt, just because when he did win it, he walk away from it, what kind of champ is that, not a very good one, and because of that i don't think they should of givin him another chance at it.

I'd have to agree with Georges St. Pierre, Matt was not at all impressive in that fight. He couldn't for the life of him take down BJ Pen, lost the first 2 rounds, and almost lost the fight at the end of the second round. BJ lost that fight in my opinion for not being in shape to go 5 rounds. I can't wait for Hughes vs St. Pierre 2, now thats going to be a good fight!

George St. Pierre is likely the best fighter in that weight class. BUT, he's going to have to overcome Matt's strength. That's not going to be easy, and Matt has proven that many times in the past. BJ Penn will tell you about Matt's conditioning, and cardio. Matt OWNED him in the third round. Although, he was very lucky to make it out of the second. I don't think BJ is going to stand a chance in that wieght class, unless he starts some more cardio work. He's been beaten by the 2 top guys in the class, and well, that's all there is to it. Sure, he came close to making Matt tap, but it didn't happen. Right now, I think BJ should have to fight his way back to a title shot. Work his way up, just like St. Pierre did. If he can do it, THEN he gets another title shot, just like anyone else.

agree, Matt should have lost that match, but none the less it was a good fight.
Bj never had the stamina to go toe to toe with Matt. he was just too tired at the end.
