man theres so much to reply too. ill just say ditto. lol. yes peoples views change, priorities change, and people get rid of toys for many reasons, some financial and some people do because they are tired of being harassed by the cops in the gta all the time. the probably the msot likely reason for it. im happy i live in an area where we dont get harassed like that and most of the time the cops just hang out until we leave and if they hand out tickets theyre usually minor. ive heard of 1 guy getting a street racing charge down here and im friends with all the guys who have the fastest cars here and so far none have been busted, its about being smart

I met a lot of great people too from the scene and more than enough people that were not so great. There are far too many haters out there.
I don’t mind show and shines or meets, or even track days, I love the scene.

Like you said, it used to be all about racing and all that junk, but not so much anymore. The main thing that improved is the personalities of car enthusiasts. I remember back in the day there was ALOT more hating going on, especially at the races. I used to get made fun of because I drove a Probe. Now, everyone seems nice (mind you, I no longer have the Probe.)
The whole thing with Zlatko is a bit over my head. I was around back in those days, but never really ran too much because I had JUST got my license and was terrified of wrecking my car. I never met the guy in person but definately did hear all of the that was being talked about him.
Either way, the racing scene is done. Its nearly nostalgic at this point. I LOVED going to watch the runs, it was what I did on weekends.

So much to reply to, but honestly i dont even know where to begin.
The last thing i want is 'drama' and problems between all of us, seeing how we're all part of the 'scene' that we do still have.
Anyways, i dont hate this site, i just wanted to bring in a new light of information to clear up misinformation being said. Im sure all of you would do the same, stick up for a good buddy of yours.
BTW Rick, i know Zlatko logged in recently, i told him about the thread, thats why.
Anyways...i come out quite often, cruise around all the time. Dont be afraid to stop by and say hi if you see me out
