I'd suggest looking further into RX-7s. Better performance then an Mk3 Supra in all aspects. You can get them cheap and the 13B really isn't that bad. Its true that they are much more fragile then a piston engine, but only the turbo rotaries, an NA 13B is practically indestructable. If it blows, you can get a good JDM engine for $1000 at most, or rebuild your yourself (not expensive). As for gas milage, you drive a 450hp+ Mustang so I'm sure the 25mpg that my RX-7 gets isn't that bad.
An turbo RX-7 will only ever be as good as the guy tuning it. If you don't advance the timing 50 degrees and up the boost 10 psi you'll be fine.

im not lookin for an mk3 supra tho i want an mkIV supra n those walk rx-7s
but ya id wanna run some good boost on the car so tatsh y im sayin the 13B is not gonna cut it id have to go 20B n thats a job and a half
so im jus gonna pass of those man but still someone who does it right those cars are amazing. n look amazing

Thanks man, It goes pretty good. Run's mid 12's at full weight. Well it has a JDM Front end on it so not FULL weight but close enough.
Next year If I can drive it right, it should be in the mid to high 11's.
Though the car is mainly set up for the roadcourse will be running time attacks next year in solo 1/solo sprints
