Im in the army and even though they dont pay alot when i get deployed and stuff like that i make more and all my bills go away while im deployed. Im in Iraq right now and when i get back ill spend 9 months state side before going to afganistan. Ill do stuff when i get back from this deployment to my car. But the next one will be a full years pay saved up and ill probly be able to come back and drop 20g or more when i get back from it

since i still live at home, and NEVER buy anything else, my money goes into the bank. I don't make much during the school year (maybe $100 a week or so) but in the summer i make hella lot ($400-$500) weekly, on top of stuff i sell on ebay, money for grades, soon enough money from scholarship, gifts, etc.

I make $6.25/hr plus a small comission bonus. Combine that with college loans and I can easily save up some money. The funny thing is several of my friends make more money then me and have less bills (I pay rent, insurance, and gas) yet they never want to play a game of big bank take little bank.

Thats where the money for my headers/exhaust is coming from - my leftover financial aid... sure i could be using it for more important things, but as long as im back on track with my financial issues in January, Ill be putting that money into my car.
