In all fairness, I remember posting about my buddies had a 1991 RS. He finally got rid of it about 3 weeks ago. The left rear wheel well rotted out, and well, that was that. the engine still pulled huge, and would lay rubber in 3rd. With 396,436 kms on it, not rebuilt.

Lay rubber as in chirp it or burnout in 3rd, because as far as i know rs' are bellow 150 hp (no 3.1 v6 right?) so that would be quite an achievement
hell just seeing the cavlier at over 3xxxxx running strong is astonishing

No proof, no car, with the prevailance of digital cameras and phones with cameras there is absolutely no reason why you cant get a picture of your car(s).

No, the 90's RS had a 3.1 V6. We played around a bit with it, but it was pretty much stock. But, man would that thing pull. He bought it when it had 270k on it, and we drove the out of it for about 4 years, before that rear wheel well went. Oh, and 3rd gear, we're talking a good squak. 4th, well, that was too tall a gear for it to do anything, but it would still go fast enough to get your liscense revoked.
This is a 1993 Cavalier RS 3.1 V6 5speed. Same car, same colour, but no white walls.
