What the Wii has done for the most part is go back to making simple fun games. Developers over complicate games too much. They try to make everything so realistic that it stops being fun. Yes great graphics are cool and all, but when it comes down to it, I still have more fun playing older styled platformers. My favorite game for the Wii was Super Paper Mario. It may not have been a graphics giant, but it was simple to play, very old school, and that sucked me in.

That's why I'm really thinking about getting both an Xbox 360 and a Wii.

We have the wii. Actuall the wife bought it. She hates video games with a passion. She said it was the only one she would enjoy because it moves your butt off the couch to do somthing. Funny thing is My mother-in-law has one as well. She and my wife are actually doing Brunswick bowling in front of me as I am typing this. Too funny. I like it having kids because we can all play and have fun as a family.
