Windows Vista
I've been putting it off for a long time but i finally put Vista on a spare hard drive of mine. Its quite a bit different from xp! I think it will take a while to get used to.
so far tho ive gotta say that i really like it. it really reduces the number of clicks that you have to do to get something done. then windows FINALY reallized that their software gets spyware and viruses....so they have built in protection. just clicking around ive noticed a lot of things that are already built in to this system that you would be downloading anyways such as is a data backup tool and desktop system monitoring.
running vista really reminds me of a mac. very easy to use and looks really cool while doing so! the graphic effects that everything does are pretty neat.
im not really sure if having cool little effects at every click of the mouse is the best thing to do (seems really intesive for an OS) and makes your video card work more.
anyone else running vista? anyone gonna get it?

As per built in data backup tools and system monitering... they had those in XP. They probably just made them less hidden in vista.
Ill have to try it, but I wont be switching anytime soon unless Im completely sold... But Im not ready to try it yet. Theres gonnna be so many glitches and holes in it, Ill wait til a SP comes out for it.
