oh another really cool thing about vista that i dont know if you guys knew or not....
your going to be able to use flash sticks as RAM. i know it may not act as the fastest ram in the world but it would help! i think that will be pretty cool. pay 20 bucks and get a 1 gig stick.....hells yeah

I've been running RC1 for a little more than a month now, and I can honestly say this is the first version of windows that im actually impressed with. For the most part im all open source, but I may buy this. I have ultimate 64bit, and its a tad laggy on my system, which supprised the hell out of me.
Heres some specs so you can get an idea of how much of a computer vista really takes...
Athlon 64 watercooled @2.83ghz
2gig DDR 400 ram @ 4xx mhz (to lazy to restart and actually see what its at)
Watercooled Nvidia Gforce 6600GT
120gig WD sata drive
80gig WD sata drive
20gig ata drive
hp lightscribe dvd burner
SB audigy platinum
Tripple booting Win XP 64bit, Vista Ultimate 64 bit, and Kubuntu Linux

I hear that if your pc is properly equipped,
vista actually performs better than xp
for games.
as far as me getting vista is concerned, i'll wait awhile.
It's bound to be somewhat buggy and there are bound to be
updates. I'll play it the same way i did with windows xp
(which i'm perfectly happy with at the moment).

Latest Vista Error:
"Windows has detected flawless operation. An error report is being generated and sent to Microsoft... just so we have something to do... 'Cause y'know, this doesn't often happen to our products."
