Are you sure it's an Elite? Never heard of a white one and I just did some searching online and can't find any white ones.

No no, you mis-read, I meant that the HD player is white. The xbox is black.

I think thats a pretty good idea and definitly gives back for anything people may be pissed off about. I know that $50 is going right back for cheap HD movies for me.

Check out overstock.com, its got a ton of HD DVD's for $13 each.

yeah arch, I just had a guy call on the phone the other day saying he got a tv, and a computer with hdmi. Said he had a pic, but no sound. My conclusion without seeing it was that he possibly had a bad cable. Now I know to ask how much they spent on their HDMI cables haha.

If you want a cleaner, get the monster lcd cleaner. I think its around $20, it works great! Not wasted money at all.

cleaner a good surge protector (if it is under $50 it's a power strip) I would go with panamax or tripplite as that is all both companies make. Cables just go with some upgraded (monster has a lifetime guarantee on their hdmi's and it is worth it and I hate monster cables)

Oh yeah.. Best Buy has returned all their HD DVDs back to the manufacturer. So if you wanted to get any out of the store, Id check now. We sent ours back a couple days ago.
