+1 on that one!!!
I'm there every week, Talk about F***ed!!! Gunshots at night, street fights......
My Rx7 would backfire between buildings and people would freak.
Shoes hanging from over head wires, stolen bikes ditched everywhere.
Bottom line disaster area!!

hit the whole city with a lightning bolt....really do u have any idea how stupid that sounds...everyone else here seems to be making some valid/funny/understandable comments cept u. i think what u need to do is get ur fat*** out of your mommas house come down to our little town called scarborough and see how the big boys play. now u think scarborough is crime infested? i think not..i live at midland and kingston and the only serious danger we were ever in is the power outage 5 years ago...now u go to markham and eglinton things are different..but if you know your hoods and u know your ppl ur fine if u dont and u agitate us then ur not gonna be well. i hope this is going through ur thick skull u ignorant bas****

i work 2 min from rexdale.
my neighborhood is not the worst but over the summer on my street alone there has been 3 break ins, 2 cars stolen and last week there was a naked guy running around at night, not sure what he was doing by i know it happened 2 nights in a row, maybe more.
im in mississauga by dixie mall
im sure more things have happened in this area but this is just my small street, every1 knows everyone on the street. it actually looks like a nice place, but things have gone downhill lately here.

Toronto gets worse and worse by the day. I've heard so many ridiculous stories in the past week alone. There ain't really gangs in my neighbourhood their are just petty thugs pretty much.

It's examples again and again the prove our government never actually does anything. Instead of creating gun bans they need to enforce gun control which would include random checks of owners safe making sure they're gun is locked away to regulation so no one could steal it.
Look at any American city that has enforced gun bans, all of which have some of the highest crime rates in the country. Then take a look at a place like Austin Texas where your aloud to open carry a rifle/shotgun down the street and easily get a permit to carry and conceal.
As much as I think our country needs a second amendment equivalence I don't think we need to all go out and purchase guns tomorrow. Our government just needs to better regulate whats out there. If you shoot someone in self defense in Canada you are just liable as if you went out and cold blooded murdered them shot to the head execution style. So the people that do fight back against these thugs often find themselves in jail, Canada needs to protect the real victims and stop throwing these innocent people in jail.
They need to get tougher on petty theft because that is where it starts. My idea has always been a big prison up in northern Ontario then like a huge fenced in area get the prisoners to earn they're stay which will help pay for the prison. Get them to chop down the tree's with like just axes and hand saws then they gotta level out the ground and then like plant crops or something.
