Blu-Ray Vs HD-DVD
Hi folks,
I am planning to get a new DVD player this December, but I cannot decide whether I should get a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player, any suggestions? Which one offers better picture quality for my HDTV? I really want to buy one that will last me for the next few years, please help.

The Best Advise I can give is Wait.
The whole Blu-Ray Vs. HD-DVD is just like the Beta Vs. VHS. My gut feeling is Blu-Ray has the edge, but who knows as Beta was a better system, but VHS killed it off which the afforability of the VHS tape.
Give it until Mar/Apr to see where the chips are falling, The last thing you want is to buy a format that is dead in a year.
